31St World FITASC Sporting Championships

11/16th-22nd/2009 649 Marksmen and Women from 16 of the world’s nations came to Australia to test their skills against targets designed to challenge the world’s best for the 31st annual World FITASC Championship. Australian Damien Birgan, won top honors shooting 187.
He was followed by George Digweed (186) and 2 other Brits Mark Marshall (184) & Mark Christopher Winser (181) for the top four spots. The Brits brought their “A” game as they shot 5 of the top eight scores for the competition The top American shooters where Jon Kruger (177), Cory Kruse (177), and Andy DuffY (176) finishing 9, 10, & 11. The American Super Veteran team took top honors was lead by Joe CanteyIII (159) who won the class. American Jr Abel Spire(170) who took 3rd in class lead the Jr. Team to a second place finish in a very competitive field.
